Round up the butter, asparagus, and garlic to start.

In a big pan, drop the butter and let it melt over medium heat.

Throw the asparagus and chopped garlic into the pan. Cover it and let them cook until the asparagus has some crunch left, around 5–10 minutes (depends on how thick they are).

If you prefer softer asparagus, turn the heat lower and let them go for a few extra minutes.

Serve right away and dig in.
