01 -
Set oven to 200°C and allow to preheat thoroughly.
02 -
Place ground beef in a medium skillet over medium heat, seasoning with kosher salt and black pepper. Crumble the beef as it cooks and sauté until browned but not fully cooked through.
03 -
If excess fat is present, remove to retain roughly 2 tablespoons in the pan. Add ketchup, granulated garlic, and granulated onion, stirring to combine. In a small bowl, mix dill pickle brine and cornstarch into a smooth slurry, then pour over beef. Increase heat to medium-high and stir until the sauce thickens and develops a glossy consistency.
04 -
Brush the surface of the pre-baked pizza shell with olive oil and sprinkle evenly with sesame seeds.
05 -
Evenly spread beef mixture across pizza shell, leaving a 1.25 cm border. Layer American cheese slices in an overlapping pattern, maintaining the border.
06 -
Bake assembled pizza for 8–10 minutes, or until the crust is golden and cheese is melted but not browned.
07 -
Transfer pizza to a cutting board and let rest for 5 minutes. Scatter shredded lettuce, chopped dill pickles, and chopped onions over the surface. Drizzle with Burger Sauce and add more sesame seeds if desired.
08 -
Slice into 8 wedges and serve hot or warm.
