Sweet Baked Peaches (Print View)

Peaches get caramelized with melted butter and brown sugar, resulting in a flavorful dessert that’s amazing topped with ice cream.

# What You'll Need:

01 - 4 big, soft peaches

→ Flavor Toppings

02 - 3 tablespoons brown sugar
03 - 3 tablespoons softened butter
04 - A dash of cloves
05 - 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
06 - Just a pinch of table salt
07 - Tiny pinch of nutmeg

→ Extras

08 - A scoop of vanilla ice cream

# Directions:

01 - Set the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the peaches in half, remove the pits, and place them cut-side up on a big baking tray.
02 - Pop a small chunk of butter in the pit cavity of every peach half.
03 - Mix cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar, salt, and cloves in a small dish. Scatter this mixture over the top of the peaches evenly.
04 - Bake for 8-12 minutes. Peaches should be soft and a little browned at the edges when done.
05 - Serve them warm with a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream on top.

# Notes:

01 - Pick peaches that feel slightly soft when you press them for the best taste.
02 - For a bit of a caramelized texture, put them under the broiler for the last minute.
