Sweet Baked Peaches (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Spice Mixture

01 - 3 tablespoons brown sugar
02 - 3 tablespoons butter
03 - 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
04 - Pinch of salt
05 - Pinch of cloves
06 - Pinch of nutmeg

→ Fresh Fruit

07 - 4 big, juicy peaches

→ For Serving

08 - Vanilla ice cream

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven on to 190°C (375°F). Cut the peaches in half, pulling out the pits. Lay them with the flat side up on a big sheet pan.
02 - Drop a little bit of butter into the hollow of each peach half.
03 - Stir together brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt in a small bowl. Sprinkle the mixture on top of the peaches.
04 - Pop the peaches into the oven and bake for 8–12 minutes. Once they’re soft and starting to brown at the edges, they’re ready.
05 - Dish them up warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.

# Notes:

01 - To pick the best peaches, look for ones that feel soft when you press them lightly.
02 - For a golden, crispy topping, broil the peaches for one quick minute right at the end.
