Set your oven to 400°F to heat up.

Take a piece of bacon and tightly wind it around each carrot, beginning at the thicker part. Make sure the bacon layers don’t pile up.

Position the wrapped carrots on a wire rack sitting over a baking sheet.

Cook the carrots for about 25 minutes. You’ll know they’re ready when the bacon turns crispy and the carrots soften.

Pull the carrots out of the oven and gently brush on the maple syrup so it coats them fully.

Pop the tray back in the oven and cook for another 8 to 10 minutes.

Dish them up right away while they’re warm.
