Bacon Maple Carrots (Print Version)

01 - ¼ cup maple syrup
02 - 1 pound of thinly sliced bacon
03 - 2 pounds of peeled carrots, less than ½ inch thick

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 400°F to heat up.
02 - Take a piece of bacon and tightly wind it around each carrot, beginning at the thicker part. Make sure the bacon layers don’t pile up.
03 - Position the wrapped carrots on a wire rack sitting over a baking sheet.
04 - Cook the carrots for about 25 minutes. You’ll know they’re ready when the bacon turns crispy and the carrots soften.
05 - Pull the carrots out of the oven and gently brush on the maple syrup so it coats them fully.
06 - Pop the tray back in the oven and cook for another 8 to 10 minutes.
07 - Dish them up right away while they’re warm.
