Easy American Flag Fruit Pizza (Print View)

Flag-inspired fruit pizza combines sugar cookie base, creamy cheese layer, and fresh berries for a festive treat.

# What You'll Need:

→ Crust

01 - 468 g refrigerated sugar cookie dough

→ Cream Cheese Topping

02 - 227 g cream cheese, softened
03 - 130 g granulated sugar
04 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
05 - 227 g whipped topping, thawed

→ Fruit Decoration

06 - 340 g fresh raspberries (3 to 4 cups)
07 - 280 g fresh blueberries (about 2 cups or 1 dry pint)

# Directions:

01 - Preheat oven to 190°C. Lightly grease a 30 cm pizza pan.
02 - Slice the refrigerated sugar cookie dough into 6 mm thick pieces. Arrange slices on the prepared pizza pan and press evenly to cover the surface. Optionally, reserve one slice to bake separately for cutting a star.
03 - Bake in preheated oven for 11-12 minutes or until lightly golden. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.
04 - While the crust cools, wash and thoroughly dry the raspberries and blueberries.
05 - In a mixing bowl, beat together softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Incorporate half the whipped topping and mix until combined. Gently fold in the remaining whipped topping to maintain lightness.
06 - Spread slightly less than half the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled cookie crust, reaching the edges.
07 - Outline the pizza with blueberries and place additional blueberries in the top corner to form the blue field of the flag. Position the reserved star-shaped cookie if using.
08 - Arrange raspberries in seven evenly spaced rows to represent red stripes. Pipe the remaining cream cheese mixture between raspberry rows to form the white stripes.
09 - Refrigerate until ready to slice and serve.

# Notes:

01 - Ensure berries are thoroughly dried to prevent the cream cheese layer from becoming watery.
