Air Fryer Pineapple Chunks (Print View)

Sweet pineapple caramelized in the air fryer with honey and cinnamon for a warm, golden treat.

01 - 1 medium fresh pineapple (approximately 3 cups of 1-inch chunks)
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil or coconut oil
03 - 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
04 - 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
05 - Pinch of salt

# Directions:

01 - Remove the top and bottom of the pineapple, then stand it upright. Slice away the skin in strips and remove the eyes with a paring knife. Cut the pineapple into 1-inch chunks.
02 - In a mixing bowl, combine pineapple chunks with olive oil or coconut oil, ground cinnamon, honey or maple syrup, and pinch of salt. Toss gently until pieces are coated evenly.
03 - Set air fryer to 400°F and preheat for 2 minutes.
04 - Arrange pineapple chunks in a single layer inside the air fryer basket. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, shaking or stirring halfway through to ensure even browning. Pineapple should develop golden brown edges and remain juicy at the center.
05 - Carefully transfer the pineapple to a serving platter. Serve warm as is, or pair with vanilla ice cream if desired.
