A colorful blend of earthy beet and zesty lemon, sweetened to taste. Great pick for staying cool in the summer!

# What You'll Need:

→ To Make Beet Lemonade

01 - Fresh-squeezed juice from 1 cup of lemons (about 5 lemons)
02 - About 1/2 cup beet juice from 2 fresh beets, peeled and chopped into smaller pieces
03 - Half a cup of sugar, honey, or syrup
04 - Six cups of water
05 - Plenty of ice for serving

# Directions:

01 - Set up your food processor with the blade for shredding. Shred beets into small bits until you’ve got about a cup. Pour in 4 cups of water and blend until smooth. Use a sieve to strain the liquid into a big bowl, pressing the pulp with a spoon to get all the juice out.
02 - Mix together the beet juice, lemon juice, sweetener, and 2 cups of water in a large pitcher. Taste and tweak it—balance the sweetness, tang, or water to your liking. Chill in the fridge until it’s nice and cold. When ready, serve in a glass filled with ice and savor it!
