Cheesesteak Breadstick Goodness (Print View)

Soft dough filled with tender beef, veggies, and melty cheese—your cheesesteak dream turned into finger food.

# What You'll Need:

→ Dough

01 - 450g of pizza dough, store-bought or homemade, your choice

→ Filling

02 - Thin slices of beef, 225g (try ribeye or flank steak)
03 - One small onion, sliced as thin as you can get it
04 - Half of a red bell pepper, cut into thin strips
05 - Half of a green bell pepper, sliced thinly
06 - 1 tablespoon of olive oil for cooking
07 - 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
08 - Worcestershire sauce, about 1 teaspoon
09 - 1/2 teaspoon of salt
10 - Black pepper (1/4 teaspoon, or to taste)

→ Cheese

11 - Shredded mozzarella, 150g
12 - 50g of shredded provolone cheese
13 - Optional: 25g Parmesan cheese, freshly grated

→ Topping

14 - 2 tablespoons melted butter for brushing
15 - Sprinkle of Italian seasoning, about 1 teaspoon

# Directions:

01 - Warm up olive oil in a pan on medium-high. Toss in the beef slices and cook just until browned, roughly 2-3 minutes. Scoop them out of the pan and keep aside.
02 - In the same skillet, cook your onions and bell peppers for roughly 5 minutes until softened.
03 - Add the browned beef back into the skillet. Sprinkle in garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and salt. Stir everything together and let it cook for another 1-2 minutes. Let it cool for a little bit before moving forward.
04 - Turn on your oven and set it to 190°C. Get a baking sheet ready by greasing it lightly or using parchment paper.
05 - Take your piece of pizza dough and roll it out into a rectangle, approximately 25×35 cm. Slice this evenly into 8 strips.
06 - Pile a little of the beef mix along the middle of each strip. Toss on plenty of mozzarella and provolone cheese on top.
07 - Fold the dough over the filling and press the edges snug to seal it up. Roll them gently into shape, making sure the seam stays underneath.
08 - Pop the stuffed rolls onto the prepped baking sheet. Give them a good brush with melted butter and sprinkle with Parmesan and Italian seasoning, if you'd like.
09 - Let them cook in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until they’re golden and puffed up.
10 - Let them rest for a bit before enjoying warm. Pair up with marinara, ranch, or a cheesy sauce for dipping.

# Notes:

01 - They taste the best right out of the oven when the cheese is gooey and the outside is crispy.
02 - You can make the beef and veggie mixture ahead and stick it in the fridge until you're ready to use.
